5/15/08 - M Golf The Pepperdine, Saint Mary's and San Diego men's golf teams were all selected to participate in the NCAA West Regional while Loyola Marymount's Jason D'Amore and Brian Locke were chosen to participate as individuals in this weekend's event. The Pepperdine women's team and San Francisco's Danielle Cvitanov particpated in the women's regional tournaments last weekend, with both closing out their seasons.
5/15/08 - Baseball USF Falls To Dallas Baptist, 4-2 San Francisco couldn't hold on to a 2-0 lead in a pitchers dual, and fell to Dallas Baptist 4-2 in non-conference baseball action at Benedetti Diamond on Thursday afternoon. Senior second baseman Joey Railey continued his assault on the Dons (31-24) career hits chart, overtaking Arnie Sambel (1987-90/236) with two hits against the Patriots (35-17).
5/14/08 - Baseball LMU Surrenders 11 Runs in Eighth Inning, Falls 18-1 to No. 9 UC Irvine LMU (22-30) surrendered 11 runs on 11 hits in the eighth inning en route to dropping an 18-1 decision on Wednesday to No. 9 UC Irvine (34-14) at LMU's Page Stadium. Sophomore Ryan Wheeler provided virtually all of the Lion offense on the day, collecting three of the Lions' four hits, including belting his fourth home run of the year in the second inning.
5/13/08 - Baseball Three WCC baseball teams took the field on Tuesday in non-conference action. Pepperdine defeated Cal Poly, 8-5, Portland downed Cal State Northridge, 9-4, while Gonzaga fell to Washington State, 7-5, in 11 innings.
5/12/08 - Baseball Four WCC baseball teams took the field on Monday in non-conference action. Portland was the only team to earn a win, defeating Cal State Northridge, 3-0.
