Whitney Strain joined the West Coast Conference in July of 2007 as the Championships and Marketing Assistant. A native of Denver, Strain comes to the WCC after graduating from the University of Iowa in the spring of 2007 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication and a bachelor's of business administration in business marketing. With the WCC, Strain will assist with the league's marketing and sponsorship efforts and help facilitate all conference championships. Along with her work in marketing and championships, Strain will assist with SAAC, awards and the WCC merchandise program. A four-year letterwinner on the women's soccer team at Iowa, Strain has served previous internships at Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain and in the sports department at NBC 11 in San Jose, CA.
