James Vega Position: Communications & New Media Coordinator

James Vega joined the West Coast Conference in August 2010 as the Communications & New Media Coordinator. Since 2007, Vega has been a Producer for Oakland Raiders Silver & Black Productions. He also was a writer, editor, producer and cameraman for the "Raiders Report" (a weekly 30-minute program aired throughout the West Coast), which won a Northern California Area Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sports - Program Feature/Segment. He also helped oversee day-to-day operations and interns for Silver & Black Productions, which produced "The Silver & Black Show", "The Raider Report" and "Behind the Shield Online".

At the West Coast Conference, Vega's main responsibilities will include video/new media production and media relations duties for cross country, men's soccer, women's basketball and additional sports to be assigned.
