BYU's Alexandra White Named WCC Golfer of the Month (April)

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced the WCC Women’s Golfer of the Month for April.  

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE MONTH (APRIL): ALEXANDRA WHITE, SR. - BYU
The Cougars competed in two events in April, the Dale McNamara Invitational and the 2017 West Coast Conference Championships. Senior Alex White recorded top-10 finishes in both tournaments. White tied for ninth place at the Dale McNamara Invitational, and claimed medalist honors at the WCC Championships. 

White posted a 73.17 stroke average for April. The senior recorded the second victory of her career at the WCC Championships, shooting 2-under-par in the final round to stake the Cougars to their second straight WCC Tournament title. 

White will advance to the NCAA Nationals after qualifying as an individual after posting a 1-under 215 in the Lubbock Regional.
