SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Brigham Young junior goalkeeper Hannah Clark has been named the West Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Clark earns her first career conference honor after an outstanding effort in goal in BYU’s 3-0 win against Portland. She played the first 72:31 in goal and didn’t allow a goal while posting three saves in the game. Her most dramatic save came in the 67th minute when she turned away a penalty kick by Portland’s Allison Wetherington with a diving save to her right.

Clark has been excellent since stepping in goal following an early-season injury to teammate Rachel Boaz in goal for BYU. On the year, she has posted an 11-1-1 record with five shutouts.
