BYU’s Huang Named October WCC Women’s Golfer of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Golfer of the Month for October. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE MONTH – ROSE HUANG, FR. - BYU
Freshman standout Rose Huang ended October with two top-5 finishes in Brigham Young’s two tournaments. In the Aggie Invitational, Huang finished in fourth place shooting one-under-par through 54 holes, helping the team to a first place finish. 

Huang led Cougars to a first place finish in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational where she shot five-under-par for the event, finishing the tournament in first place. Huang shot an average of 71 per round through the month of October, and posted two top-five finishes in the Cougars’ October events.
