  • The West Coast Conference is 11th in conference RPI according to the latest KenPom rankings (2/29/16) behind the Mountain West (10th) and ahead of the Missouri Valley (12th).
  • According to the current KenPom rankings, the West Coast Conference ranks third nationally in efficiency (107.0) during league play. 
  • Saint Mary’s ranks in the top-five among Division I leaders in multiple team offensive categories: field goal percentage (1st/50.8%), assist/turnover ratio (1st/1.79), fourth in scoring margin (15.0) and fifth in fewest turnovers (267). 
  • The Gaels rank fourth nationally among Division I leaders in scoring defense (60.4 ppg).
  • BYU ranks seventh nationally among Division I scoring leaders (83.9 ppg) and 11th in rebounds (41.45).

  • Gonzaga senior forward Kyle Wiltjer was named Preseason National Player of the Year by CBSSports.com and is on the Wooden Late Season Top-20 list. 
  • BYU’s Kyle Collinsworth is a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award  (top point guard), while Gonzaga’s Wiltjer was on the midseason  list for the Oscar Robertson Award (National Player of the Year) and is a Karl Malone Award Finalist (top power forward). Gonzaga’s Domantas Sabonis is a finalist for the Kareem Abdul Jabaar (top center).
  • Gonzaga’s Wiltjer* ranks 21st among active career Division I scoring leaders (1,797). Pepperdine’s Stacy Davis ranks 23nd (1,752 points) while Santa Clara’s Jared Brownridge (31st/1,686) and BYU’s Collinsworth (44th/1,611) also crack the top-45.
  • BYU’s Collinsworth ranks eighth nationally among active career rebound leaders (1,001), while Pepperdine’s Davis is 12th (961).
  • Two WCC student-athletes rank in the top-30 among active career assists leaders. BYU senior guard Kyle Collinsworth ranks fifth nationally (660). Portland junior Alec Wintering is 29th (465). 
  • San Diego senior center Jito Kok ranks seventh among active career Division I blocked shots leaders (268), good for second on the WCC career charts. 
  • BYU’s Chase Fischer ranks eighth among active career Division I 3-pointer leaders (196/3.02), while Santa Clara’s Brownridge is ninth (276/2.91). Saint Mary’s Emmett Naar leads the nation in career 3-point accuracy (46.7%) and Brownridge is 41st (41.9%).
  • Gonzaga ranks second nationally in 3-point field goal percentage defense (28.5) and defensive rebounds (29.67), 23rd in field goal percentage (48.2), 12th in scoring margin (13.5) and 15th in rebound margin (7.9). 

 *Wiltjer’s NCAA career tally includes two seasons at Kentucky (535 points)
