SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for December 14, 2015.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – STACY DAVIS, SR., F – PEPPERDINE
Senior forward Stacy Davis posted double-doubles in each of the Waves’ two wins this week and averaged team bests of 15.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks, as well as 3.0 assists. He had 14 points and 10 rebounds in a home victory over Long Beach State, then 16 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a road win at Ball State. He tied his career high with four three-pointers at Ball State.
At Ball State, he became just the second Wave in school history to make 400 free throws in a career. He had the 23rd and 24th double-doubles of his career, moving him into a tie for ninth place on the Waves’ all-time list. He’s helped Pepperdine to a season-best four-game winning streak. For the season, Davis is averaging 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds.
