Delgadillo Named WCC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for November 16, 2015.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CARLOS DELGADILLO, SO., F – SANTA CLARA
Sophomore forward Carlos Delgadillo was sensational, scoring the first two goals and assisted on the third to lift Santa Clara to a 3-0 victory against San Diego. With the win, Santa Clara secured a share of the WCC championship with the Toreros on the final day of the 2015 regular season. 

Delgadillo, who scored on his only two shots of the contest, lifted the Broncos to their first NCAA postseason berth since 2010. Both Santa Clara and San Diego finished 5-1-1, but the Broncos earn the league’s automatic bid due to the head-to-head victory.
