About the WCC
The West Coast Conference traces its roots to 1952, and its members span the western coast of the United States from Canada to Mexico. The current alignment has remained unchanged since 1979, making the WCC the third most stable conference in the nation. Only the Ivy League and Pacific-10 Conference have been together longer. Conference members include Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, Portland, Saint Mary's, San Diego, San Francisco and Santa Clara. The men's basketball loop is long on history, ranging from the Bill Russell-led San Francisco national champions in 1955 and '56 to high-octane Loyola Marymount, which set the current NCAA single season scoring record in 1990, to the national run by Gonzaga over the last several years.
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is the fourth largest private passenger auto insurer in the United States. It provides auto insurance coverage for more than 7 million policyholders and insures more than 11 million vehicles. The company operates its headquarters in Washington, D.C. and maintains regional offices throughout the United States. GEICO is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway group of companies.
