BYUtv to televise 12 games from 2014 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships

SAN BRUNO, Calif.  – The West Coast Conference announced that BYUtv will produce and televise a record 12 games from the 2014 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.  BYUtv will broadcast the men’s and women’s first round on Thursday, March 6, the women’s quarterfinals on Friday, March 7, a pair of men’s quarterfinals on Saturday, March 8, and the women’s semifinals on Monday, March 10.  In addition, all 12 games produced by BYUtv will be streamed live on the West Coast Conference’s new platform, TheW.tv.

“We are delighted to partner with BYUtv at the West Coast Conference Basketball Championships for the fourth consecutive year,” WCC Commissioner Jamie Zaninovich said. “In addition to our multiple broadcasts on ESPN, BYUtv will help enhance both our national and international exposure for the tournament with every game airing nationally both on television and on-line through TheW.tv.”

Before the season, it was announced that ESPN Networks will televise six games from this year’s WCC Championships: two men’s quarterfinals on ESPN2, one men’s semifinals on ESPN and another on ESPN2, women’s championship on ESPNU and men’s championship on ESPN.
