West Coast Conference Launches WCC Mobile Smart Phone App

LAS VEGAS - The West Coast Conference has announced the release of the new WCC Mobile smart phone app for both iPhone and Android devices. Developed by XOS Digital, a global sports video provider, WCC Mobile features videos from around the West Coast Conference, the latest WCC news, live stats, schedules, standings and more.

"We are thrilled to launch our new WCC Mobile smart phone app," said West Coast Conference Commissioner Jamie Zaninovich. "We want to ensure our fans have access to our conference while they are on the go, and the new WCC Mobile allows them to follow all of their favorite West Coast Conference teams no matter where they are."WCC Mobile features high-definition content which includes weekly game highlights, live game scores and WCC original programming, providing fans with the ability to follow the conference from any location and at any time. App features include:

  • Original video programming such as "West Coast Conference Wrap" studio show
  • Team schedules and rosters for all conference sports
  • Live scores, stats, standings and polls
  • Breaking news and conference headlines
  • Live streaming HD video for select games

    "The WCC mobile app provides incredible value to the loyal fans of the conference," said Nathan Christopher, director of consumer marketing, XOS Digital. "Our advanced digital live streaming service allows for select games to be watched live from anywhere."

    Fans can download the new WCC mobile app for free by searching "West Coast Conference Mobile" in the iTunes App Store or Android Marketplace.

    Earlier this season, the conference also partnered with XOS Digital and launched the WCC Affiliate Network for accredited news outlets within the region. The WCC Affiliate Network provides a free digital video player which delivers near-live game highlights and the "WCC Wrap" for use in online sports reporting. Fans can access game highlights within these video players, dubbed the WCC Video Zones, by visiting the online sports pages of participating news outlets, which include KGA-AM, Spokesman-Review and KHQ-TV.
