West Coast Conference Announces 2014-15 Championship Slate

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has unveiled its Championship sites and dates for the 2014-15 season. The WCC will host 10 championship events at six sites located throughout the conference's 10-school footprint.

Cross Country opens the 2014-15 West Coast Conference championship slate when men's and women's squads head to the Bay Area to compete in two races November 1, 2014. Santa Clara University will serve as the host institution for the event at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif.

Men's and women's basketball returns to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. for the seventh consecutive season in the conference's signature event. The 28th annual West Coast Conference Basketball Championships include all 20 men's and women's teams and runs March 5-10, 2015.

Spring ushers in the championship season with six champions crowned in a six-week period.

All men's and women's golf programs will compete in the 2015 championships in Southern California. Pepperdine University will host the event at Saticoy Country Club April 13-15, 2015 in Somis, Calif.

Men's and women's tennis teams will vie for the 2015 WCC titles April 22-25. The Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. will once again serve as the home site for the event.

The women's rowing championship returns to the Sacramento State Aquatic Center. Conference crews will challenge in three races May 16, 2015 in Gold River, Calif.

For the third consecutive year, Stockton, Calif. will serve as the host for the 2015 West Coast Conference Baseball Championship. Four teams will compete for the tournament hardware and a guaranteed NCAA Regional berth at Banner Island Ballpark May 21-23.
