STOCKTON, Calif. - On the ropes and facing defeat, the Tiger volleyball team stormed back to claim a 3-2 upset win over No. 21, and previously undefeated, Loyola Marymount on Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Alex G. Spanos Center. The victory for the Tigers kicked off conference play as Pacific dominated late for their 12th win of the year, improving to 12-2 on the year with their ninth-straight win. The Lions fell to 12-1 overall with the loss as they dropped out of the ranks of the undefeated in Stockton.

PROVO, Utah – Senior Jennifer Hamson led No. 11 BYU women's volleyball to a three-set sweep of the Portland Pilots (25-16, 25-22, 25-21) Saturday at the Smith Fieldhouse.

 

Hamson finished with a team-high 15 kills while hitting a clip of .519. Setter Camry Godfrey Willardson had 31 assists, four kills and seven digs.

DALLAS, Texas - Three second half goals from Ashley Hatch andElena Medeiros gave BYU a 3-0 victory over SMU on Saturday.

Both Hatch and Medeiros scored for the second straight game and gave the Cougars (6-3-2) their fifth straight win. The Mustangs fell to 5-6-0 on the season.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The 24th-ranked University of San Diego women's volleyball team outlasted Gonzaga University, 3-2, Saturday afternoon in a West Coast Conference match at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

 

With the 21-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 17-15 win, the Toreros improve to 9-5 overall, remain perfect in WCC play at 2-0 and they have increased their winning streak over the Zags to 27 consecutive matches.

SAN DIEGO, Calif -  The University of San Diego (USD) Toreros' goal was to take down their rival, NCAA #1 ranked University of California (UCLA) Bruins and to break their all time attendance record for fans in stands - and they succeeded accomplishing both last night.

 

USD Men's Soccer Upset #1 UCLA 1-0 in front of record crowd of 4,432 at Torero Stadium last night in San Diego.

IRVINE, Calif. - The LMU women's soccer team rallied from a 1-0 deficit with a pair of second-half goals to clinch a 2-1 victory at UC Irvine Friday night.

 

The Lions improve to 6-2-1 on the season with the victory, snapping a six-game unbeaten streak by the Anteaters (4-5-2).

 

The teams played an even battle through the first half with six shots apiece, but UCI would sneak in a goal with just two minutes remaining in the frame.
