SAN BRUNO, Calif. --The West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its November Players of the Month.
ROB JONES, SR., F, SAINT MARY'S
Saint Mary's senior forward Rob Jones is the WCC Men's Basketball Player of the Month for November. Jones led the West Coast Conference in points per game (18.0), rebounds per game (11.4), and field goal percentage (63.2%), while lifting the Gaels to a 4-1 record during the month. Jones also registered a double-double in all five Saint Mary's games in November.

NATALIE DAY, SR., G/F, PORTLAND
Portland senior guard/forward Natalie Day is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Month for November. Day averaged 20 points and eight rebounds per game during the month. She shot 54.9 percent from the field and claimed three straight WCC Player of the Week awards. The Pilots opened the season with a 5-3 record and Day scored at least 20 points four times.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
MILES BATTY, SR., BYU
BYU senior Miles Batty is the WCC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Month. Batty claimed the individual title at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships and led BYU to a team title on November 12. He also finished 14th at the NCAA Championships and paced BYU to a fourth-place finish, its second-best finish in program history.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
TARA ERDMANN, RSR., LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
Loyola Marymount redshirt senior Tara Erdmann is the WCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Month for November. Erdmann finished third overall at the NCAA West Regionals on November 12 with a time of 19:53. She then earned All-American honors after finishing 10th at NCAA Championships with a time of 19:51:3, a personal record for Erdmann.

TOM MOHORIC, SR., D, SAINT MARY'S
Saint Mary's senior defender Tom Mohoric is the WCC Men's Soccer Player of the Month for November. Mohoric helped the Gaels capture the WCC title and advance to the NCAA Elite Eight as SMC went 6-1 in November, which included three NCAA tournament victories on the road. Mohoric scored the game-winner at No. 25 Cal State Bakersfield in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. His second goal of the postseason came at Brown in the NCAA Sweet 16, sending the match into overtime. The Gaels eventually won 3-2 to advance to the Elite Eight at No. 1 North Carolina.

STEPHANIE OCHS, SR., F, SAN DIEGO
San Diego senior forward Stephanie Ochs is the WCC Women's Soccer Player of the Month for November. Ochs propelled the Toreros to a share of their first-ever WCC championship and into the Sweet 16. She assisted on all six USD goals scored in November, and landed the game-winning PK in an NCAA shootout victory at UC Irvine.

MEN'S TENNIS (SINGLES)
SEBASTIAN FANSELOW, JR., PEPPERDINE
Junior Sebastian Fanselow (Essen, Germany/Kaplan College Prep) went 1-1 during the month of November while competing at the USTA/ITA Indoor national Intercollegiate Championships in Flushing, N.Y. Fanselow, ranked No. 10 in the ITA Preseason singles rankings, won his first-round match against Tsvetan Mihov of Oklahoma, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 to set up a meeting with No. 3-ranked Eric Quigley of Kentucky. After dropping the first set by a single break, 6-4, Fanselow evened the score with a 6-4 win in the second. In the deciding third set, Quigley edged Fanselow 6-4 to advance to the Round of 16. Fanselow concluded his fall campaign with a 7-4 record, including four wins over ranked opponents.

WOMEN'S TENNIS (SINGLES)
LORRAINE GUILLERMO, FR., PEPPERDINE
Lorraine Guillermo, Pepperdine, FreshmanFreshman Lorraine Guillermo went a perfect 3-0 at the Mission Hills Desert Classic to finish her rookie fall season with a team-best 9-3 record. Guillermo opened the tournament with a thrilling three-set triumph versus Alison Ramos of USC. In the follow-up match, she took a 3-0 lead before Washington's Capucine Gregoire was forced to retire. In her final match of the weekend, Guillermo logged a 6-4, 6-1 win against Gregoire's teammate, Samantha Smith. Guillermo brings a five-match win streak into the dual season, which opens on Jan. 25 versus San Diego State.

KIM HILL, SR., MB, PEPPERDINE
Opposite side hitter Kim Hill led Pepperdine to a 5-1 record during the month of November with a hefty 4.89 kills/set earned on a .426 hitting percentage. In her 188 attack attempts, Hill tacked down 93 kills and committed just 13 hitting errors. The senior delivered a well-rounded performance with 2.79 digs/set, 1.00 blocks/set and 0.42 service aces/set. Hill was awarded WCC Player of the Week honors twice and was ultimately honored as the Player of the Year in a vote of the league's coaches. Her efforts this season have helped land the Waves on the AVCA Coaches Top-25 Poll and as high as No. 14. Hill's 25 put aways versus Saint Mary's on Sept. 29 is the most of any player in the WCC in a single match this season.
