Gray Named WCC Volleyball Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Week for November 9, 2015. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ALEXA GRAY, SR., OH - BYU 
Senior outside hitter, and 2014 West Coast Conference Player of the Year, Alexa Gray led No. 14 BYU women’s volleyball to a pair of sweeps over the weekend as the Cougars remain in first place in conference play. Gray put up 20-plus kills in each three-set outing against Saint Mary’s and Pacific while adding 20 combined digs in the wins. The win against the Tigers included Gray’s sixth double-double of the season from 20 kills and 12 digs in addition to five blocks. On the week, Gray averaged 7.50 points, 6.83 kills, 3.33 digs and 1.00 block per set while hitting a blistering .413 clip.
