Ha Named WCC Women’s Golfer of the Month - September

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Golfer of the Month for September. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE MONTH – VANESSA HA, SO. – SAN FRANCISCO
Sophomore Vanessa Ha won the Rose City Intercollegiate with a record score of 6-under 210, capped by a final round 68 to secure the title. Ha lifted the Dons to the team title shattering the team tournament record along the way at 7-over 871 at Langdon Farms Golf Club.

Ha's final round 68, which matched a career-best, consisted of five birdies and just one bogey on the Langdon Farms layout. She started her round with birdies on holes 1 and 2 and made the turn at 1-under par. Ha played the back nine 3-under as birdies on 11, 12 and 18 earned the sophomore her first collegiate title. 

In her first event of her sophomore campaign, Ha posted back-to-back par rounds at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic before faltering in the final round.

For the month, Ha posted five rounds at par or better and turned in a stroke average of 72.5 during September.
