LMU Men's Soccer Lands the No. 20 Spot in NSCAA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Loyola Marymount University men’s soccer program has been ranked No. 20 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division I poll, it was announced Tuesday by the association.

LMU sports a 4-0 record after three weeks of non-conference play. For the Lions, the four-game win streak is the best start in program history. In addition, the team has not allowed a goal in 360 minutes played in 2015, and 483:56 total straight minutes dating back to Nov. 4, 2014.

The recently crowned West Coast Conference player of the week, Paul Blanchette landed in the Lions record book after earning his 15th career shutout against Boston College (1-0). The senior goalkeeper and teammates have held opponents scoreless in their four contests, sports a 9-0 goal ledger against its challengers, and owns a .511 shot on goal percentage.

LMU looks to extend its win streak when they travel to Bakersfield, CA to face CSU, Bakersfield on Friday, Sept. 11.
