SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Loyola Marymount sophomore goalkeeper Charlee Pruitt has been named the West Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season, the conference office announced Monday.

Pruitt was spectacular in net as the Loyola Marymount Lions earned a key road victory at #15 Pepperdine on Sunday.

In her 90 minutes in net, Pruitt made six saves and was under heavy pressure as the offensive-minded Waves recorded 16 shots and seven corner kicks. Pruitt’s play Sunday kept LMU in the WCC title hunt entering the final week of the regular season.

Pruitt’s clean sheet was her fifth solo shutout on the year. The redshirt sophomore lowered her goals against average to 1.03 and is now the conference leader in total saves with 83 on the year.
