Nakae Named WCC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for October 27, 2015. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JESSICA NAKAE, JR., MF – SAN FRANCISCO
Junior midfielder Jessica Nakae netted the game winner in San Francisco's 2-1 upset of No. 5 BYU this past Thursday. In the 82nd minute, Nakae corralled a loose ball off a deflection inside the box and fired the game winner inside the far post from 15 yards out to lift the Dons to victory over their highest-ranked opponent in program history. It was Nakae's second goal of the year. She registered a team-best five shots on the night, two of which were on goal.
