SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for September 7, 2015.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BRI VISALLI, SO., M – PEPPERDINE
Sophomore midfielder Bri Visalli helped the Waves to a 1-0-1 week that included a 3-0 win over Toledo and a 2-2 draw with No. 1-ranked Virginia with a pair of goals. Visalli scored the first goal of the day on a long strike against Toledo for her first score of the season. She then scored the Waves' second goal against the top-ranked Cavaliers in the 81st minute to put Pepperdine ahead 2-1 before Virginia equalized minutes later. Visalli's goal in that game was a long strike outside the box again.
