SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for August 24, 2015.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – HANNAH SEABERT, JR., GK - PEPPERDINE
Junior goalkeeper Hannah Seabert picked up a pair of overtime shutout wins for No. 10 Pepperdine to open the 2015 season. The Waves collected a 1-0 home win against Cal State Northridge in the opener and followed by a 1-0 triumph against North Carolina State in San Diego.

Seabert collected six saves on 12 shots during the opening weekend and played all 185.17 minutes for the Waves. One of her six saves came with just seconds left in Sunday's game against the Wolfpack as she snagged a header that was put on target by an NC State forward to save the game for the Waves.

An All-WCC honorable mention selection last season, Seabert was named to the NSCAA All-West Region Third Team and led the conference in GAA (0.67) with nine shutouts.
