SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for November 23, 2015.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – DOMANTAS SABONIS, SO., F - GONZAGA
Sophomore forward Domantas Sabonis put together an efficient week in a pair of Gonzaga wins, averaging 20.5 point and 10.5 rebounds while making 19-of-23 field goals. In a 91-52 win over, Northern Arizona, the sophomore forward scored a career-high 26 points on 12-of-13 shooting, while pulling down seven rebounds (four offensive) and adding one block.
Three days later in a 101-56 win over Mount St. Mary's, Sabonis made 7-of-10 shots to score 15 points, but more impressively he set another career-high in pulling down 14 rebounds. For the week he had nine offensive rebounds, helping Gonzaga outscore its opponents a total of 38 to 11.
