Toreros Race At Aztec Invitaional

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego men's cross country team finished 10th in the Aztec Invitational. The Toreros were one of more than 10 teams participating in a highly competitive race including WCC opponents LMU and Saint Mary's College.

Chris Jacobs was the first Torero to cross the finish line in 18th place with a time of 26:23 followed by Kevin O'Malley taking 65th overall in a time of 27:35. Rounding out the top five for San Diego was Marcus Lopez (92nd, 29:11), Clint Gordon (93rd, 29:11), and Mark Hubbard (98th, 30:04).

USD will travel to the Griak Invitational later this week hosted by the University of Minnesota in Falcon Heights, Minnesota for their fourth race of the season.
