Cross Country Finishes Invitational at Stanford

Tess Grannemann posts best finish for Gaels at Stanford Invitational

The Gaels men's and women's cross country teams competed this afternoon in the 34th Annual Stanford Invitational. Freshman runner Tess Grannemann posted the best finish for the Gaels coming in 157th with a time of 24:20 in the Women's 6K.

Nick Shea posted the best finish for the men's team, finishing at 181th with a time of 26:34. Mark Blucher followed, with a time of 27:11 in the men's 8K course.

Tess Grannemann led the women's team and pulled in a time of 24:20 placing 157th in the women's 6K at the invitational. Teammates Madison Dengler (25:06) and Jade Lewis (26:54) followed in close behind.

Both the men's and women's teams will be back in action on Saturday, October 6th for the San Francisco State Invitational at Golden Gate Park.
