Steve Trudelle Joins Cross Country Team As Assistant Coach

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The USD Toreros are pleased to welcome Steve Trudelle to his 1st season as assistant coach for the Men's and Women's Cross Country program. Toreros Head Coach Will Guarino is excited that Trudelle's business experience will help the program's recruiting efforts.

Trudelle, a 2004 graduate from the University of San Diego, ran for the Toreros during the 2000 - 2003 seasons. He placed as high as 12th in the conference championships, was named to the WCC Honorable Mention Team three times, and was a two time member of the WCC scholar-athlete team. He was captain of the team in 2003. Trudelle graduated with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. He has been working in the Real Estate Finance industry since 2004.

Steve has recently started racing again, and enjoys focusing on the half marathon distance. He has recently placed between 5th and 20 th in the Seattle, La Jolla, and Phoenix half marathons, with a best time of 1:17:03 at the Phoenix Rock N Roll. Besides running, his leisure activities include traveling, the outdoors, and volunteering.

Trudelle is a proud resident of Ocean Beach and grew up running on the beautiful trails of Portola Valley, CA.
