-Gonzaga continued their season at the Pier Park Preview where both men and women placed sixth and the Whitworth Short Course with both men and women nabbing second in the dual meet.
-Junior Colby Litzenberger placed first in both the Pier Park Preview 8K with a time of 25:05.70 and the Whitworth 3200 with a time of 10:06.
-Freshman Laura Volcheff took fifth at the Whitworth 3200 with a timr of 12:48 while Brittany O'Regan, also a freshman, took 10th in 12:58.
-Next up for the Bulldogs is the Williamette Invitational on September 29th followed by two weeks off before the Eastern Washington Invitational.
Loyola Marymount Lions
-The Lions made a solid appearance at the SDSU Aztec Invitational with the men finishing sixth of 12 teams and the women finishing seventh of 14 teams.
-Defending Aztec Invitational individual champion Laura Mickelson was just two seconds away from a second-straight title, as she was out-kicked by USC's Sarah Cocco for a second place finish in 17:45.
-Trevor Wiseman (22nd) and Brian McDonald (28th) led the Lion men to the seventh place team finish in the Aztec Invitational.
-The Lions are back in action this weekend, with both the men and women scheduled to compete at the Stanford Invitational (9/29).
-The Waves crashed through September competing in the Pier Park Preview and hosting the Pepperdine Invitational. The Pepperdine women finished third overall, while the men placed fourth at the Preview.
-Junior Brieanna Carroll finished 12th in 22:38 out of a field of 81 women in the Pier Park 6K. Finishing second for the Waves and 20th overall was freshman Chelsea Wishard in 23:14.
-Senior Chris Ogle led the men at Pier Park in the 8K with a time of 25:50, finishing 12th out of 90 competitors.
-The Waves take two weeks off from competition before traveling to Phoenix, Ariz. to compete in the Arizona State University Invitational on Friday, Oct. 6th.
-Both Pilots teams finished first in their inagural appearance at the Pier Park Preview, with the men posting a score of 31 and the women boasting a dominating score of 17.
-The Pilot men moved up in the USTFCCCA poll released on September 25, as the UP squad received a No. 11 ranking, up from their preseason No. 14 ranking. The men were also listed third in the west region poll.
-The Portland women's team was also ranked in the west region, moving up from No. 9 to No. 6.
-The Pilots will split their teams and compete in the Williamette and Oregon Invitationals this weekend (9/29).
Saint Mary's Gaels
-Saint Mary's continued their season in the SDSU Aztec Invitational and travelled to Hawaii to compete in the Big Wave Invite.
-Karrie Hagedorn paced the SMC harriers with a time of 19:08 to place 33rd overall in the Aztec Invitational.
-On the men's side, Mario Mendoza led the Gaels for the second consecutive week with a 44th place (27:18) finish at the Aztec Invitational.
-Freshman Nick Shea finished fifth with a 16:52 in the Big Wave Invite 5K.
-Saint Mary's will compete in the Stanford Invitational this weekend (9/29).
San Diego Toreros
-The Toreros stayed in San Diego last week to compete in the Aztec Invitational where the men finished 10th and the women finished 14th.
-Chris Jacobs was the first Torero to cross the finish line in 18th place with a time of 26:23 followed by Kevin O'Malley taking 65th overall in a time of 27:35 at the Aztec Invitational.
-Ashlen Nimmo was first for USD to cross the finish line in 84th place with a time of 20:14 in the women's 5K.
-The Toreros men's and women's teams will be traveling to the University of Minnesota's Griak Invitational invitational with races scheduled to begin Saturday morning (9/29).
San Francisco Dons
-The Dons travelled to Seattle to compete in the Sundodger Invitational last week where the women captured the third place title edging out WCC rival Santa Clara .
-Jennifer Hartford finished ninth overall at the Sundodger, and recorded the second fastest 6K time in USF history with a time of 21:30.
-The men were led by senior Cheyne Inman, who finished 28th overall with a time of 25:02 in Seattle.
-The USF women's squad was ranked No. 15 in the west region in the USTFCCCA poll released on September 25.
-USF will head to Minnesota this weekend to participate in the Roy Griak Invitational.
Santa Clara Broncos
-Santa Clara harriers continued the strong start of their season with the women placing fourth and the men placing seventh at the Sundodger Invitational.
-Adriane Puetz took 7th in the women's 6k race with a time of 21:25, a course record for an SCU runner.
-Freshman Melissa Conlin ran her first collegiate 6k with a time of 22:08, placing 24th overall and second for SCU in the race.
-Michael Delaurenti led the men's team with a time of 24:43 in the 8k race.
-Next up for Santa Clara is a trip to South Bend to compete in the Notre Dame Invitational (9/29).
