Loyola Marymount senior Sheree Shea is the WCC Women's Cross Country Player of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its September Women's Cross Country Player of the Month, Sheree Shea from Loyola Marymount University.

SHEREE SHEA, SENIOR, LOYOLA MARYMOUNT

Loyola Marymount senior Sheree Shea is the WCC Women's Cross Country Player of the Month for September. Shea led the Lions to four top-four finishes in September, including a win at the Cal State Fullerton Mark Covert Classic, where she was the overall winner.

In addition to her win at the Mark Covert Classic, the senior finished second at the WCC Preview Meet in Portland, with the best time for a WCC women's runner at the meet. She concluded the month with a seventh-place finish at the Stanford Invitational, again the best finish for a WCC competitor in the meet.
