Pacific's Lindsay Wourms Named WCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Month - October

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Runner of the Month for October.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE MONTH – LINDSAY WOURMS, JR. - PACIFIC
Junior Lindsay Wourms set a new program and personal record in the 6K distance at the Bronco Invite, in the prelude to the West Coast Conference Championships. The time was the best for a Tiger runner in the Invitational event as Wourms led the contingent with a 6K time of 21:43.1, besting her previous program and career high of 22:08 set at the NCAA West Regional in 2013. After battling illness throughout the week, she became the first Pacific cross country athlete to break the 22:00 minute barrier in a 6K race.
