SPOKANE, Wash - Following rain showers over most of the week and another heavy down pour on Saturday night, Sunday's baseball game between Gonzaga University and Santa Clara University was postponed due to unplayable field conditions.
The two teams will attempt to finish their three-game West Coast Conference series on Monday at Noon at Avista Stadium. Should conditions again not be playable at Avista Stadium, the game will be moved to Spokane Falls Community College. A decision on which site will be used will be posted on www.GoZags.com on Monday morning once a final decision is made.
Gonzaga and Santa Clara split the first two games of the series with Gonzaga winning 5-1 on Friday night. Santa Clara rallied for five runs in the ninth to win Saturday's game 7-6.
