LOS ANGELES - After a four game road swing, LMU baseball returns home Tuesday to host UNLV for a 2:00 p.m. game at Page Stadium. Fans who cannot make it to Page Stadium for the mid-week match-up can follow the Lions free of charge on both Gametracker and Lions' All-Access audio at www.LMULions.com.
The Lions (3-7-1) are coming off tough road games at San Diego State and Fresno State, but second baseman Eric Farris was a bright spot for LMU. Farris hit .647 (11-for-17) over the four games with a .941 slugging percentage. His on base percentage for the week was .684. Farris was 2-for-2 in stolen bases and had a home run, a triple, five runs scored, and three RBI and posted multiple hits in all four games.
UNLV (6-6) comes to Page Stadium Tuesday after topping Cal in a three-game series. Efren Navarro Jr. leads the Rebels hitting .400 with four doubles and 11 RBI. In the Rebels' Sunday 11-10 win over Cal that clinched the series, Navarro Jr. hit a three-run home run to get the Rebels started in the first inning.
The Lions and Rebels last met in 2005 in Las Vegas, with the Lions topping the Rebels 7-6.
