Baseball Game Against USF Canceled Due To Inclement Weather

Sacramento, CA- The Saint Mary's baseball game versus San Francisco was cancelled due to inclement weather. The finale of the River City Classic will not be made up. Both teams were crowned champions after sporting two wins in the classic.

Saint Mary's continued to stay hot in the classic with a 4-1 victory over defending national champions Oregon State in the early game Saturday. SMC then erupted for 14 runs after belting four home runs to rout host Sacramento State 14-4 in the late game.

With both victories the Gaels improve to 9-8 on the season. SMC will take to the diamond again when it returns to Hornet Field on Tuesday, February 27 for a mid-week game against the Hornets. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
