SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Rawlings Pitcher and Player of the Week for February 25, 2013.
RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
RYAN BROCKETT, JR., LHP, SAINT MARY'S
Saint Mary's LHP Ryan Brockett is the Rawlings West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week. The junior tossed a no-hitter on Sunday afternoon in the series finale against Chicago State. The Gaels won the game 15-0, but it was the junior southpaw who shined the brightest. He allowed just three base runners, striking out 11 in the no-hit effort. Brockett recorded 15 consecutive outs from the second through seventh innings. For the game, he threw 113 pitches, 77 for strikes.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CHRIS WOOLLEY, JR., SS, SAN DIEGO
San Diego junior shortstop Chris Woolley is the Rawlings West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Woolley helped the Toreros to go 3-1 in a 4-game series against 2012 College World Series participant Kent State, hitting .636 (7-for-11) with a double, six RBI and four runs scored. In game one of Saturday's doubleheader, he went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Woolley then went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the nightcap and closed out the weekend with a 3-for-4, one double, two RBI and one run scored effort.
