SAN BRUNO, Calif. - A pair of West Coast Conference baseball teams will compete in Major League Baseball stadiums this weekend. The University of San Francisco Dons and the Saint Mary's College Gaels will each play in National League West ballparks over the coming days.
The Dons will play three games at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants this weekend. As part of the Cal Baseball Classic, USF will take on UC Santa Barbara, Long Beach State, and Louisiana-Lafayette over the weekend. The Dons will also take part in the Dante Benedetti Classic on Tuesday, meeting Bay Area foe San Jose State at AT&T Park.
Meanwhile, Saint Mary's will be in Southern California to play in the second annual Dodgertown Classic in Los Angeles. As part of the three-game tournament, the Gaels will meet the University of Georgia on Sunday morning at Dodger Stadium.
