Los Angeles, Calif. - LMU baseball will begin a tough seven-game homestand Tuesday when the Lions host fourth-ranked Cal State Fullerton. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m. at Page Stadium.
The Lions (11-19) will battle the Titans (20-7) in the first mid-week match-up between the two teams this season. LMU will then play at CSF's Goodwin Field April 18.
In the 2005 match-up at Goodwin Field, LMU defeated a Titan team that was then the top-ranked team in the nation. The Lions won the 13-6 decision to give LMU its first-ever win over a team currently ranked No. 1 in any sport. The Lions and Titans have split the home-and-home series for the last three seasons.
Cal State Fullerton will visit Page Stadium Tuesday after sweeping crosstown rival Long Beach State in a non-conference series at Goodwin Field.
First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and fans can follow all of the action as it happens on Lions' All-Access at www.LMULions.com.
