SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's West Coast Conference baseball series at Saint Mary's College this weekend has been altered due to wet field conditions.
The teams will play single games Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m., and conclude the three-game series with an 11:30 a.m. contest on Monday. Because of the Easter Weekend, the series was originally scheduled as a single game Friday and a double-header on Saturday. Because of Easter holiday, neither school has Monday classes, thus the switch to a Saturday-Sunday-Monday format. All games will be played at Louis Guisto Field on the SMC campus.
The Bulldogs are 4-2 and in a three-team logjam atop the WCC standings with the University of San Francisco and the University of San Diego. Gonzaga is 22-12 overall. The Gaels are 3-3 in the WCC and 16-15 overall.
