SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University baseball team will honor all current and former members of the United States Armed Forces Saturday at the Bulldogs' game against Loyola Marymount University at Patterson Baseball Complex and Washington Trust Field. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
All members of the military, as well as their families, will be admitted to the game between the Zags and Lions, at no charge. Former and current members of the armed forces are asked to show military identification at the ticket office to receive complimentary admission for themselves and their families. The ticket office is located on the northeast corner of the ballpark, right outside of the main gates.
The Gonzaga ROTC will present the flags prior to the contest, while the Bulldogs will honor military personnel with the playing of God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch.
The Zags and Lions open the three-game West Coast Conference series Friday. Friday's game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday will mark Senior Day in which the Zags' will recognize six seniors from this season's squad.
