SAN BRUNO, Calif. --The West Coast Conference has named its Rawlings Pitcher and Player of the Month for April 2012.
RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE MONTH
MICHAEL WAGNER, SO., RHP, SAN DIEGO
San Diego closer Michael Wagner is the Rawlings West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Month. The Las Vegas, Nev. native posted a 1-0 record with seven saves in April, recording 17 strikeouts in 13.0 innings of work over 10 appearances. Wagner established a new USD and WCC single-season record for saves during the month, now at 19 for the season.

ROYCE BOLINGER, SR., OF, GONZAGA
Gonzaga senior Royce Bolinger is the Rawlings WCC Player of the Month after helping the Bulldogs to a 10-win month. Bolinger hit .400 (28-for-70) with four home runs, 13 RBIs, and 14 runs scored during April. Almost a third of Bolinger's hits went for extra bases, as he smacked four doubles and a triple in addition to his four round-trippers.
