WCC announces 2012 Baseball All-Academic Team

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2012 West Coast Conference Baseball All-Academic Team. 13 members of this year's team appeared on the 2011 All-Academic Team for baseball, including Loyola Marymount's Alex Guthrie and Portland's Kyle Kraus - each of whom are receiving their third All-Academic honor.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
