SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego's sophomore James Meador was tabbed as an All-Star for the Central Illinois Collegiate League, it was announced by the league office.
Meador, a sophomore from Ramona Calif., has been a valuable asset to the Danville Dans this summer. Thus far through the summer, Meador is the team's second leading hitter with a .282 batting average, has 37 hits, five doubles, three triples and two home runs. On the mound, the two-way star has posted a 2-1 record with a 4.11 ERA and struck out 14 batters in 15.1 innings of work.
