LOS ANGELES - The first annual Crimson & Navy Fall Series concluded Saturday with Crimson winning two of three games to win the title. Crimson won Saturday's rubber match 3-1 at Page Stadium.
Awards honoring the Fall Series' outstanding performances were announced following Saturday's rubber match. Senior Anthony Soto of Crimson was named Outstanding Offensive Player. Fellow senior DeAndre Miller (Navy) and transfer T.J. Bernardy (Crimson) were named Outstanding Co-Defensive Players of the Series. The Outstanding Pitcher honor went to freshman Xavier Esquivel of Crimson. Crimson's Eric Farris took home the Series MVP selection.
Following Saturday's game, the large crowd of LMU family, friends, fans, and staff gathered in Pride Park for lunch. Thank goodness there's just 75 days until Opening Day! See you back at Page Stadium Friday, February 2nd.
