San Francisco's Dior Lowhorn Ties Bill Russell's USF Record
San Francisco junior forward Dior Lowhorn matched a USF record that has stood for over 50 years. Lowhorn tied NBA Hall-of-Famer Bill Russell for the fastest player to score 1,000 points at USF. The leading scorer in the WCC reached the 1,000 point milestone in his 49th career game in the Green and Gold. Russell tallied his 1,000th career point in the 1955 NCAA Tournament Semifinals against Colorado.

Portland's Jared Stohl Sets New School Three-point Record
Portland sophomore sharpshooter Jared Stohl knocked down nine three-pointers in the Pilots' 78-60 win over San Francisco last night. Stohl broke the previous school record of eight three-pointers, accomplished twice by Peter McKelvey during the 1991-92 season. He finished 9-of-13 from beyond the arc en route to a career-high 33 points. Stohl's nine three-pointers is tied for the third most in a single game in the nation, trailing only Jodie Meeks of Kentucky and Kyle McAlarney of Notre Dame, who both made 10 treys in a game earlier this season. Led by Stohl, Portland tied a school record for most three-pointers in a single game.
