SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Basketball Player of the Week for January 19, 2015.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - BRAD WALDOW, SR., C - SAINT MARY'S
Senior center Brad Waldow averaged 24.5 points and 10 rebounds per game in Saint Mary's two West Coast Conference wins last week over San Diego and BYU. Waldow shot a combined .750 (21-28) from the field in the two games and handed out five assists with just five turnovers in 49 minutes of playing time.
Waldow scored a game-high 25 points on 11-for-13 shooting in Saint Mar'ys 70-58 win over San Diego and added 24 points with 14 rebounds in the 82-77 win over BYU. The All-American candidate registered his 12th double-double of the year against the Cougars, converting on 10-of-15 from the field with two blocks, 3 assists and a steal. Waldow is the only player in the nation averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per game in Division I this season.
