Santa Clara's Brandon Clark Named WCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Basketball Player of the Week for January 26, 2015.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - BRANDON CLARK, SR., G - SANTA CLARA
Senior guard Brandon Clark enjoyed a big weekend leading Santa Clara to a home WCC sweep against Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine to wrap up the first half of West Coast Conference play. Clark averaged 21.0 points on 45.2% from the field to go along with 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals as the Broncos won their fourth straight overall and third straight league game.

Clark scored a game-high 29 points in Santa Clara's 65-62 win against Loyola Marymount and added 13 in a 60-57 win against Pepperdine. Clark hit two clutch free throws in the closing seconds against the Lions and connected for three from the stripe versus the Waves
