WCC Live is Back on the Air Tonight

San Bruno, Calif. - WCC Live will be back on the air tonight at 8:00 pm to recap the previous week of conference play as all eight schools continue the road to Las Vegas.

Appearing on this week's show will be Santa Clara Men's Head Coach Kerry Keating, Saint Mary's Women's Head Coach Paul Thomas, and Portland Women's Head Coach Jim Sollars to discuss their recent victories and upcoming matchups. Also making a special guest appearance will be Brian Berger, LMU men's play-by-play announcer during the 1989-90 NCAA Tournament run.

Coach Keating is coming off a thrilling one-point victory over Bay Area rival San Francisco last week and will host Gonzaga and Portland this week. The game against Gonzaga will air nationally on ESPN2 on Thursday night and he will stop by to preview the upcoming matchups.

Berger was the one of the men's play-by-play announcers for the LMU men's team that captured the hearts of college basketball fans across the nation during its run to the Elite 8 in the 1989-90 season. He will stop by to recount some special memories from that season as Loyola Marymount celebrates the 20th anniversary of that historic season this weekend.

Coach Thomas has his Gaels at 4-1 in conference play in second place after an overtime win against San Diego last week. He will stop by to talk about the upcoming matchup with Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount.

Coach Sollars is coming off a perfect 2-0 trip from Southern California with wins over Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine. The Pilots sit at 2-3 in conference play and will host San Francisco and Santa Clara this week.
