Perris Blackwell named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its men's basketball Player of the Week award-winner for January 30, 2012.

PERRIS BLACKWELL, JR., F, SAN FRANCISCO
San Francisco junior forward Perris Blackwell is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Blackwell led the surging Dons to an undefeated week, with victories at Santa Clara and over San Diego. For the week, Blackwell averaged 22.5 points on .667 (18-of-27) shooting, with 6.5 rebounds per game. Blackwell converted on 8-of-11 field goal attempts at Santa Clara, and turned in a career-high with 26 points against the Toreros on Saturday.
