SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Back in the Associated Press Top 25 (at No. 24) Gonzaga travels to the Marriott Center to face BYU in a nationally-televised game on Thursday night. Meanwhile, the WCC's hottest team, Saint Mary's, puts its 11-game winning streak on the line Thursday night against San Diego.

  • At 10-0 in the WCC and winners of 11 straight, Saint Mary's is ranked No. 16 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll and 18th in the A.P. Top 25. After Thursday's win at Portland, Gonzaga is ranked 24th in the A.P. poll.

  • Saint Mary's will play at 9th-ranked and unbeaten Murray State in the 10th annual Sears BracketBusters on Feb. 18 (3p PT, ESPN/ESPN2). One day prior, LMU will host Valparaiso in the event (6p PT, ESPNU).

  • In this week's RPI Report from the NCAA, Saint Mary's ranks 20th nationally among 344 Division I schools. Gonzaga is No. 21, and BYU is ranked 48th. The RPI is an important factor in helping select at-large bids for the 68-team NCAA Tournament in March.

  • Only eight Division I teams have won at least 25 games in each of the last four seasons. Three of those teams (BYU, Gonzaga, Saint Mary's) call the West Coast Conference home.

  • Following BYU's win at Virginia Tech, the WCC has a 72-44 (.621) non-conference record this season. In 2010-11, the WCC non-conference winning percentage was .554.

  • San Francisco junior Perris Blackwell is the WCC Player of the Week for January 30. Blackwell averaged 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Dons last week. USF has won three straight.

  • Seven members of the 2011 All-WCC Team were named to this year's Preseason All-West Coast Conference Team.

  • The WCC's weekly web video show, "The Road to Las Vegas," returns to WCCsports.com on Wednesday. This week, viewers learn how they can win all-session passes to this year's tournament in Las Vegas, complete with hotel stay. Also, Mark Few, Dave Rose, and Randy Bennett discuss building a program for March.

  • Also on February 1, WCC Live, the popular Internet talk show returns. This week's guests include Pepperdine senior Taylor Darby and BYU radio broadcaster Greg Wrubell.
