ESPN College GameDay Comes To Spokane This Saturday

SPOKANE, Wash. - ESPN's weekly College GameDay Driven by State Farm men's college basketball series and the Saturday Primetime game-of-the-week telecast will be in Spokane Saturday for the Gonzaga University-University of Memphis contest.

The morning portion of College GameDay will be aired from the McCarthey Athletic Center on the Gonzaga campus as it was in 2006. The two one-hour College GameDay shows will air at 8 a.m. Pacific Time and 5 p.m. Pacific Time, the second show from the Spokane Arena leading up to the 6 p.m. tip-off between the Bulldogs and Tigers.

While the game is sold out, fans can attend the morning show free of charge at the McCarthey Athletic Center. The doors open at 6:30 a.m. There will be two live segments on SportsCenter between 7 a.m.-8 a.m., with the one-hour College GameDay show originating from the McCarthey Athletic Center from 8 a.m.-9 a.m.

"We are very excited about having ESPN College GameDay return to Spokane," Gonzaga athletic director Mike Roth said. "It has developed into one of the most popular collegiate basketball offerings and we are honored ESPN has chosen to include us again. It's a great opportunity to showcase our campus, our program and the city of Spokane."

The morning show lineup includes host Rece Davis, Digger Phelps, Hubert Davis, Jay Bilas and Bob Knight.

The game broadcast will include Dan Shulman, Bilas, Knight and sideline reporter Erin Andrews.
