SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Basketball Player of the Week for February 17, 2014.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - KRUIZE PINKINS, JR., F, SAN FRANCISCO
Junior forward Kruize Pinkins lifted San Francisco to a share of third place in the West Coast Conference standings with a career night in a win at rival Santa Clara on Saturday. Pinkins scored a career best 26 points on 8-for-11 from the field to go along with six rebounds (five offensive), two assists and two steals in the 69-63 victory.
Pinkins converted on 10-of-11 from the free throw line against the Broncos and did not commit a turnover in 32 minutes of playing time. With the road win, the Dons share third place in the WCC standings with longtime rival Saint Mary's at 9-5.
