  • No. 3/2 Gonzaga is the highest ranked WCC team since the Bulldogs achieved a No. 1 national ranking in 2012-13. Gonzaga was the overall No. 1 national seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
  • Senior guards Johnny Dee (USD) and Tyler Haws (BYU) rank in the top-six among active career scoring leaders. Dee has 2,004 points (6th) and Haws has 2,565 (1st).* Christopher Anderson (USD) is third in active career assists (731). This marks the second straight season a WCC student-athlete has been ranked in the top-five among active leaders in scoring and assists (Anthony Ireland, LMU).
  • Senior guards Johnny Dee (USD) and Kevin Pangos (GON) rank first and third nationally among active 3-point leaders. Dee has 330, Pangos 302. Sophomore guard Jared Brownridge (SCU) is eighth in 3-pointers per game (2.78) and 12th in 3-point percentage (43.5). Junior guard Chase Fischer (BYU) is fifth nationally in 3-pointers per game (3.11) and 33rd in long distance accuracy (42.0).*
  • The WCC ranks second among Division I in both field goal percentage (44.95) and 3-point field goal percentage (36.30); sixth in free throw percentage (70.38) and 10th in scoring (69.73).*
  • BYU’s Tyler Haws and Gonzaga’s Kevin Pangos and Kyle Wiltjer earned spots on the 2015 Wooden Award Mid-Season Top-25 list. **
  • Four WCC student-athletes rank in the top-35 among active NCAA free throw percentage career leaders: San Diego’s Johnny Dee (2nd/91.0), BYU’s Tyler Haws (5th/88.7), Santa Clara’s Jared Brownridge (28th/85.2) and Gonzaga’s Kevin Pangos (32nd/84.4).*
  • The West Coast Conference ranks No. 9 in conference RPI (as of 2/16) ahead of the Missouri Valley and behind the American.
  • BYU’s Tyler Haws became the ninth WCC player (first Cougar) to surpass 2,000 career points with 28 points at Saint Mary’s** (1/17/15). **Includes three WCC seasons only
  • San Diego’s Johnny Dee became the 10th WCC player (first Torero) to surpass 2,000 career points with 21 points against Saint Mary’s (2/14/15).
  • This marks the first season since 1989-90 for two WCC student-athletes to surpass 2,000 career points. Gonzaga’s Jim McPhee and Loyola Marymount’s Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble each surpassed the 2K mark that season.
  • Should BYU’s Kyle Collinsworth record his sixth triple-double to tie the NCAA Division I career record, the WCC would own the all-time leaders for both men’s and women’s basketball. Saint Mary’s Louella Tomlinson (2007-11) shares the Division I women’s record with seven during her standout career.
